Wind Advisory
I was fairly confident that I’d be able to skip through Indiana so I could rest at a friend’s house, but alas it wasn’t meant to be.
I was getting buffeted all over the place with 45-50mph gusts and as it turns out, the area is under a wind advisory. So I decided to just hunker down a few miles east of Indianapolis.
It’s not that I can’t handle the wind under normal circumstances; it’s just that after driving since first thing this morning, these are no longer normal circumstances. All it would take is a momentary break of concentration and a stiff, well timed gust and I’d be lucky if I walked away with a story to tell of my offroad experience through some farmer’s field.
Besides Ive been hankering for sleep for a couple of hours now.
You’ve been hankering for sleep for a few years.
